Overview of Property
The Carbo Property comprises seven claims totaling 2,778 hectares and is accessible by all-weather gravel roads. The project is located 80 kilometres northeast of Prince George, B.C. in the Wicheeda-Carbo carbonatite camp within the Rocky Mountain Rare Metal Belt. The project is contiguous with Spectrum Mining Corporation's Wicheeda Rare Earth Discovery. Commerce acquired the four main claims that make up the property by staking in 2005.
In 2011, Canadian International Minerals Inc. (TSXv: CIN) acquired a 100% interest in the Carbo Property. Commerce will retain a 2% NSR royalty on the property with no buyback right. The acquisition agreement is pending regulatory approval.
2011 Exploration at the Carbo Project
Canadian International Minerals Inc. has commenced a minimum 3,200 metre drill program at the Carbo Project with a particular focus on 3 distinct targets as identified by previous airborne, soil geochemistry and geological mapping.
