The Tantalum and Niobium International Study Center ("TIC") held its forty-eighth General Assembly in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on October 21-24, 2007. The event was sponsored by the niobium raw materials producer CBMM who also provided a tour of their open-pit mine in Araxa. Attendees to the assembly included senior executives from companies involved with the mining, processing and/or use of tantalum and niobium, and their associated products. Participation at the conference included over 150 delegates from around the world. |
